John Weilert swam the opening backstroke leg on Cortland's second-place 200-yard medley relay team

Adam Opsahl (East Lyme, CT) won three events and sophomore
Reeve Callen (Oswego) was a double-winner as Cortland concluded its dual-meet season with a 175-123 loss at Fredonia.
Opsahl won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.69), 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.85) and 200-yard individual medley (2:03.60). Callen finished first in both the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:16.09) and the 50-yard freestyle (21.98) and was second in the 100-yard freestyle (48.92).
Senior
Mark Hanifin (Fort Plain) won the 500-yard freestyle (4:58.73) and finished second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:47.26), while sophomore
Mathew Hasbrouck (New Paltz) won the 200-yard butterfly (2:01.34) and was runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly (54.35).
Sophomore
Jack Jakubek (Monroe/Monroe-Woodbury) finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.38) behind Opsahl. Cortland also was second in both relays. Senior

The Red Dragons (6-9) return to action at the SUNYAC Championship Meet Feb. 19-22 at Erie Community College's Flickinger Center in Buffalo. Cortland is the defending league champion.
