LINCOLN, NEB. - Cortland junior
Taylor Hudson (Victor) finished 12th out of 17 competitors in the long jump during the opening day of competition at the NCAA Div. III Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships. The two-day event is being hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Bob Devaney Sports Center.
Hudson finished with a leap of 5.27 meters (17' 3.5"). She missed eighth place and All-America honors by about 10 inches. Naomi Bates of Amherst won the event at 5.79 meters (19' 0").
Hudson will compete in the high jump finals on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. (Central).
