Peter Richardson ran the anchor leg on Cortland's fifth-place 4x400-meter relay team and was 10th in the 400-meter hurdles
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Cortland men's outdoor track and field team tied for eighth place out of 23 teams at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational Sunday at Fauver Stadium on the Rochester campus. The Red Dragons finished with 43 points. Brockport won the title with 139 points, followed by Rochester with 90 points. Cortland did not field a full team as a number of Red Dragons competed at the Princeton Sam Howell Invitational earlier in the weekend.
Senior
Tyler Prendergast (Waterford/Shenendehowa) scored nearly half of Cortland's points with a first-place finish in the hammer throw, a second-place effort in the discus and a fifth-place showing in the shot put. His hammer throw of 49.34 meters (161' 10") is an ECAC qualifier. He recorded a discus throw of 41.39 meters (135' 9") and a shot put of 13.26 meters (43' 6").

Alex Hall (Caledonia/Caledonia-Mumford) and freshman
Anthony Galvan (Riverhead) finished third (9:57.37) and sixth (10:15.28), respectively, in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Junior
Connor Ten Eyck (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) was fifth in the pole vault at 3.93 meters (12' 10.75"), while the 4x400-meter relay of sophomore

Woody Millar (Saratoga Springs) finished 10th in the javelin (43.76 meters – 143' 7") and 14th in the discus (35.27 meters – 115' 8").
Richardson was 10th in the 400-meter hurdles (59.87) and sophomore
Dante Binotto III (Canajoharie) placed 10th in the javelin (42.82 meters – 140' 6"). Sophomore
Peter Sigona (Auburn) was 11th in the long jump (6.17 meters – 20' 3") and junior
Daniel Margo (Oneida) placed 11th in the shot put (12.61 meters – 41' 4.5").
