Taylor Hudson competes in the long jump at the NCAA Championships. She finished 11th and missed the top eight by just over two inches.
DELAWARE, OHIO – Cortland junior
Taylor Hudson (Victor) finished in 11th place out of 22 competitors in the long jump during the opening day of competition at the three-day NCAA Div. III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.
Hudson posted a jump of 5.49 meters (18' 0.25"). She missed the eighth place spot and All-America honors by just over two inches. Amherst College's Naomi Bates won the event at 6.02 meters (19' 9").
Cortland's lone female competitor, Hudson returns to action in the high jump on Friday at 2 p.m.
