Taylor Hudson competes in the high jump at the NCAA Championships. She cleared 5'8" to finish third nationally and set a new school record.
DELAWARE, OHIO – Cortland junior
Taylor Hudson (Victor) set a school record and earned All-America honors in the high jump at Day 2 of the NCAA Div. III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Hudson finished third in a field of 22 entrants with a height of 1.73 meters (5' 8"). The previous school record was 1.72 meters (5' 7.75") by Kristen Serikstad in 2009.
With her placement, Hudson earned All-America honors and scored six team points at the meet. The top eight finishers in each event are All-Americans. Ashlee Ward of Misericordia won the event at 1.76 meters (5' 9.25").
Cortland is finished with competition in the women's meet.
(UPDATE - May 24: Cortland tied for 42nd place out of 81 schools that scored with six points. Wartburg won the team title with 65 points.)
