SEWELL, N.J. – Junior
Mitch Ryan (Plattsburgh/Seton Catholic) finished in seventh place out of 231 runners to highlight Cortland's performances at the Rowan University Inter-Regional Border Battle.
Ryan turned in a time of 25 minutes ,0.65 seconds on the 8,000-meter course. Charlie Marquardt of Haverford won the race in 24:40.49.
Sophomore
Jesse Perrone (East Syracuse/East Syracuse Minoa) finished 72nd in 26:09.74. Sophomore
Aaron Granger (Delevan/Pioneer) and freshman
Jake Zedack (Mexico) finished 122nd (26:46.84) and 123rd (26:47.79), respectively, and freshman
Christian Yorks (Warwick/Warwick Valley) placed 150th (27:20.23).
Cortland tied for 14th place out of 24 teams with 426 points. Haverford won the title with 62 points, followed by The College of New Jersey with 98 points.
Cortland will compete at the Cornell University John Reif Memorial on Friday, Oct. 23.
