Grequan Carter scored eight points and led the Red Dragons with five assists and three steals
The Cortland men's basketball team defeated the University of Quebec at Montreal, 79-58, in an exhibition game at Corey Gymnasium.
Blair Estarfaa led the Red Dragons with 13 points. Zach Lydon added 11 points, Carrel Joseph scored 10 points, and Grequan Carter led the team with five assists and three steals to go along with eight points. Kewyn Blain scored 22 points for Quebec-Montreal, which lost at Lycoming College in Pennsylvania, 76-72, a night before playing at Cortland.
The Red Dragons open their season at Utica College in a non-league game on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m.
