Christine LaVoie ran the lead leg on Cortland's 4x400-meter relay team and finished fourth in the 400-meter run at Moravian
The Cortland women's outdoor track and field team sent a majority of its competitors to the Moravian College Coach P Open, while some Red Dragon throwers competed at Nazareth's Roc City Classic and some distance runners ran at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic. None of the three events featured team scoring. Cortland posted nine ECAC qualifying efforts at Moravian and four at Bucknell.
The Red Dragons are scheduled to host the Cortland Classic Friday and Saturday, April 17-18.
BETHLEHEM, PA. – Senior
Taylor Hudson (Victor) hit ECAC marks in four individual events at Moravian and also ran on an ECAC-qualifying relay. She was the top collegiate finisher (second overall) in the long jump at 5.56 meters (18' 3"), which currently ranks eighth nationally in Div. III. She finished second in the high jump by clearing 1.64 meters (5' 4.5"), was second in the 200-meter dash in 25.62 seconds, and placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.50 seconds (15.25 prelims).

Kenya Outram (Brooklyn/Victory Collegiate) and Hudson finished third in the 4x100-meter relay in an ECAC time of 48.63 seconds. Moore registered two individual ECAC times with her third-place effort in the 100-meter dash (12.61) and fourth-place time in the 200-meter dash (25.88). Kayla Koelbel (Bradford, PA/Kings Park (NY)) fifth in the 15.66 seconds (15.55 prelims), with both hitting ECAC standards.

Valerie Vancol (Merrick/Sanford H. Calhoun) turned in two top-10 finishes at Nazareth. She was third in the discus at 36.81 meters (120' 9") and ninth in the shot put at 10.48 meters (34' 4.75"). Sophomore
Diamond Jackson (Farmingville/Sachem East) finished fifth in the discus at 34.92 meters (114' 7").
LEWISBURG, PA. – Junior
Kailyn Balzano (East Greenbush/Columbia) recorded two of Cortland's four ECAC efforts at Bucknell. She was 11th in the 800 meters in 2:13.56 and 16th in the 5,000-meter run invitational in 4:38.05. Balzano ranks 13th nationally in the 1,500 meters and 16th in the 800 meters with those performances.
Senior
Ameena Dye (DeWitt/Jamesville-DeWitt) finished 16th in the unseeded 5,000 meters in 18:17.44 and junior
Michelyn Little (Voorheesville/Clayton A. Bouton) was 24th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:40.30, both ECAC efforts. Junior
Kayla Blomback (Orchard Park) narrowly missed ECAC qualifying status in the 800 meters – her time of 2:20.37 was only 0.37 seconds slower than the standard.
