ITHACA, N.Y. – Cortland met ECAC standards in seven individual events and one relay at the Cornell University Big Red Invitational women's outdoor track and field meet.

Taylor Hudson (Victor) was the Red Dragons' lone individual winner with her high jump of 1.64 meters (5' 4.5"). She also anchored the winning 4x100-meter relay team that included Midge Moore (Massapequa), Dana Kupiec (Salem) and Kenya Outram (Brooklyn/Victory Collegiate) and finished in 48.40 seconds. In addition, Moore placed sixth in the 100-meter dash in 12.49 seconds.

Kailyn Balzano (East Greenbush/Columbia) finished second of 34 in the 800-meter run in 2:16.08. Diamond Jackson (Farmingville/Sachem East) and Valerie Vancol (Merrick/Sanford H. Calhoun) were fourth and fifth, respectively, in the discus. Jackson hit a distance of 40.88 meters (134' 1") and Vancol's best throw was 39.30 meters (128' 11").

Angelique Jean-Charles (Elmont/Valley Stream) finished seventh of 27 in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.13 seconds. Alex Seymour (Dryden) was 11th in the pole vault with a height of 3.35 meters (10' 11.75").

Cortland will compete at the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships Friday and Saturday, May 1-2, at Brockport.
