Taylor Hudson earned All-America honors in the high jump for the fourth time with her tie for sixth place
CANTON, N.Y. -
Taylor Hudson (Victor) capped her stellar collegiate career with a tie for sixth place in the high jump to earn All-America honors during the final day of the NCAA Div. III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship. The three-day meet was hosted by St. Lawrence University.
Hudson was one of six athletes between sixth and 11th place to clear 1.66 meters (5' 5.25"). She did not miss on any of her attempts, however, until attempting 1.69 meters, and officially tied for sixth place. Jenna Breaker of Ripon won at 1.75 meters (5' 8.75").
The top eight finishers earn All-America honors. Hudson finishes as a five-time All-American, including four times in the high jump. She was a long jump All-American with a fourth-place finish during Day 1 of this year's outdoor championships, and was a high jump All-American both indoors and outdoors in 2014 and 2015.
Cortland finished in 39th place in the final team standings with 7.5 points. Wisconsin-La Crosse won the team title with 73 points.
