ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Cortland women's cross country team finished 11th at the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday with 266 points. The host school won the meet with 53 points.
Senior
Jackie Boyce (Schaghticoke/Greenwich) led the Red Dragons with a 34th-place finish, covering the 5,000-meter course in 19:40.1. Senior Gabrielle Kennelley of Gannon finished first among the 205 competitors in 17:51.7.
Sophomore
Megan Wagner (Niskayuna) was close behind Boyce, crossing the finish line in 38th place (19:45.6). Rounding out the Red Dragons' top five were freshman
Gwen Proper (Sylvan Beach/Camden) in 48th (20:05.0), senior
Abbey Gray (Homer) in 78th (20:56.1) and junior
Danielle Milo (West Islip) in 96th (21:09.8).
