Mary Baughman (Rush/Rush-Henrietta) finished in 72nd place out of 280 runners at the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville.
Baughman, Cortland's lone competitor as an individual qualifier, covered the 6,000-meter course in 21 minutes, 45.3 seconds. Amy Regan of Stevens Institute won the national title in 20:16.4.
In the team standings, Johns Hopkins captured the national crown with 128 points, followed by Washington (Mo.) with 202. Two SUNYAC teams placed in the top seven - Geneseo in third (214) and Oneonta in seventh (299).
