BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Buffalo St. men's hockey team scored seven goals over the final two periods to earn a 7-0 win versus Cortland Saturday night in the regular-season finale for both teams. The Red Dragons ended their at 9-12-4 overall and 3-10-3 in the SUNYAC with the loss, while the Bengals improved to 15-6-4 and 11-4-1 with the win.
Sophomore
Drew Weigman (Gaithersburg, MD/Northern Cyclones) registered 29 saves for Cortland. His counterpart in goal for Buffalo St., Mike DeLaVergne, stopped all 28 shots he faced in posting the shutout.
Six different players scored for the Bengals led by Todd Graham with two goals and one assist. Ryan Salkeld recorded one goal and two assists, Jonathan Hall tallied one goal and one assist, and Jake Rosen, Anthony Beaumont and Sean Hrivnak each contributed two assists.
