NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - Ten different players scored goals as the nationally ninth-ranked Cortland women's lacrosse team defeated New Paltz, 20-6, in SUNYAC action Saturday afternoon to give head coach
Kelly Lickert-Orr her 100th career win. Lickert-Orr, in her third season at Cortland, has an overall record of 100-15 that includes a 52-11 mark in four seasons at Keuka College and a 48-4 record with the Red Dragons.

Kristen Ohberg (Brewster) scored a game-high eight points on a game-best six goals and two assists to pace the Red Dragon (5-2 overall, 1-0 SUNYAC) offense. Freshman Lexie Meager (Syracuse/West Genesee) tallied four points on three goals and one assist. Sophomore
Carly Stone (Syracuse/Jamesville-DeWitt) and freshman
Molly Newton (Skaneateles) each recorded two goals and one assist, and senior
Nicolette Tortorici (Deer Park) also netted two goals.

Hilary O'Neil (Fayetteville/Fayetteville-Manlius) collected three ground balls and caused two turnovers. Meager and junior
Carli Clementi (Huntington/Harborfields) secured three draws apiece.
Alexa Criollo led New Paltz with three goals. Nicole Gottschalk scored twice, and Caitlyn Morris added a goal. Goalie Kendra Dansereau registered six saves. Gottschalk collected four ground balls, Nicole Stackpole won three draws, and Alicia Kennedy caused two turnovers.
The Red Dragons held a 3-2 lead just past the midway point of the first half before going on a six-goal run, highlighted by two goals each from Meager and Newton, to grab a 9-3 advantage. The Hawks, however, closed the half with three goals to pull to within 9-5 at the break.
Cortland quickly pushed its lead to 13-5 with the first four goals of the second half from four different players. After Criollo stopped the run to make it a 13-6 score, the Red Dragons closed the game with the final seven goals for the 20-6 final to give Lickert-Orr her 100th career win in just six-plus seasons on the sideline.
