ITHACA, N.Y. - Three of Cortland's six ECAC-qualifying performances came in the pole vault at the Ithaca College Tuesday Meet, which was hosted by the Bombers at Cornell University's Kane Sports Complex.

Charlie Kollmer (Mount Sinai) finished third in the pole vault with a height of 4.60 meters (15' 1"). Ivan Mieses (Middletown) and Corey Fitchett (East Islip) also met ECAC standards by each clearing 4.30 meters (14' 1.25"). They both were successful on their first tries at that height, but due to number of misses at the previous height, Mieses finished sixth and Fitchett seventh.

Dev Williams (Syracuse/Corcoran) won the long jump with an ECAC distance of 7.02 meters (23' 0.5"). Mitch Couch (Oneonta) posted runner-up showings in both the shot put (14.34 meters/47' 0.75") and the hammer throw (56.66 meters/185' 11"), hitting ECAC marks in each.

Jake Davis (Castleton/Maple Hill) won the javelin throw at 40.75 meters (133' 8") and placed fifth in the 100-meter dash (11.41). Jake Yonker (Limestone/Allegany-Limestone) was second in the javelin at 30.39 meters (99' 8") and Kyle Crescanzo (Bay Shore/St. John the Baptist) finished second in the 400-meter dash (53.93).

James Forte (Merrick/Sanford H. Calhoun) took top honors in the 800 meters (1:59.17), followed by Nate Wicks (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) in second (2:00.68). Nick Vachon (Johnson City/Maine-Endwell) finished third in the high jump (1.85 meters/6' 0.75").

Liam Joyce (Dryden) was fifth in the 200-meter dash (23.72) and sixth in the 100-meter dash (11.57). C.J. White (Middletown) finished sixth in the long jump (6.25 meters/20' 6.25").

Cortland will return to action on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Cornell Big Red Invitational. Also, Mitch Ryan (Plattsburgh/Seton Catholic) is scheduled to run in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Penn Relays on Thursday at 7:40 p.m.
