PHILADELPHIA, PA. – Mary Baughman (Rush/Rush-Henrietta) and Allison Schumann (North Salem) competed for Cortland's women's team and Mitch Ryan (Plattsburgh/Seton Catholic) represented the Red Dragon men at The Penn Relays.

The historic meet is held at Franklin Field at the University of Pennsylvania over five days, but Cortland only attended for Thursday night's races.

Baughman finished 11th overall (eighth among collegiate entries) and was the third-fastest Division III runner in the 10,000 meters with a time of 36:23.59. She currently ranks 15th nationally in Division III in the event.

Schumann placed 39th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:19.40. She was one of only four Division III runners to compete in the race.

Ryan finished in 26th place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:24.88. He was the 22nd collegiate finisher and the third among Division III entries.

Cortland will compete at the Cornell Big Red Invitational on Sunday, April 30.
