Midge Moore Finishes 20th in 100-Meter Dash at NCAA Championships

GENEVA, OHIO - Cortland's Midge Moore (Massapequa) placed 20th in the 100-meter dash during the second day of competition at the NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The event is being held at the SPIRE Institute and is being hosted by the University of Mount Union and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission.

Moore finished with a time of 12.48 seconds in her heat of the preliminaries. Nine competitors advanced to Saturday's finals - the winner from each of the three heats and the next six fastest times.

Moore's outing concluded Cortland's showing at the women's meet. Dana Kupiec (Salem) finished 18th Thursday in the 400-meter hurdles prelims.
