Coach's Corner - Comments from Head Coach Steve Patrick following Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle

The pre-regional meet at Rowan was an important opportunity for the team to compete in, especially heading into Fall Break.  The Lady Red Dragons has a great day out there.  Of the 15 women that raced today, 12 ran lifetime bests over the 6,000 meter distance.  Considering that for the third week in a row the footing was pretty sloppy that certainly seems like a pretty good indication that we are making some great strides as a program.

The guys are still dealing with some health issues but we're really happy with the fight our guys showed out there today.  The guys who were healthy had really strong performances, and have learned about what steps we need to take next moving forward.

Most of the team will use the next two weeks to get ready for the SUNYAC Championships in Fredonia on October 27th, but a few folks will race over at Cornell next Friday.
