Coach's Corner - Comments from Head Coach Steve Patrick on the men's and women's meets at Boston University and Cornell

We had an excellent range of performances at BU on Friday and Saturday highlighted by some strong 800 meter PRs for Melissa Emilio, Shannon Imbornoni, and Richard Samuels, as well as a huge performance from Nolan Vest in the mile. Sara Billings ran a real tough 3k to have a big PR, and the depth of our men in the 400 was outstanding as evidenced by having our first 4x4 relay run 3:19 and our second run 3:22!

We realize how fortunate it is to have our short sprinters and field event folks able to compete at Cornell on Sunday.  Kelly Gardner was a superstar with lifetime bests in both the long jump and triple jump. The men's long jump group clearly excelled as well with Dawan Jones hitting a lifetime best and Dev Williams leaping his furthest of the year. Of course seeing Micheal Outing and Storm Malone sweep the top two spots in the 60HH was quite a treat as well.
