Coach's Corner - Comments from Head Coach Steve Patrick
The thing we're most proud of with the team is the toughness and character they showed this weekend. Saturday's portion of the meet at Bucknell was really hot and sunny, while Sunday's portion was breezy and 40 degrees. It's one of the coldest meets I have ever been to in my career!
The high hurdles went really well for us today, highlighted with a great PR of 15.48 from
Maya Campbell and Storm Malone taking first place overall. Our men's mid distance runners, led by Nolan Vest in the 1,500 and James Forte in the 800, represented us really well, while our women's 4x400 relay closed things out for us well with one the faster times we have had in a few seasons.
We look forward to hosting a large number of college programs, as well as some Special Olympians, this upcoming weekend for the Cortland Classic.
