Coach's Corner - Comments from Head Coach Steve Patrick:
Peyton Lalone had two excellent races in Shippensburg, running his way into the upcoming conference championships in both the 100 and 200. He definitely capitalized on the opportunity to make the long trip and took advantage of the decent weather down there.
The folks at Cornell battled through some tough conditions – we had a mixture of rain, sleet, and snow at different times. Three folks I would like to highlight for efforts that have a potential impact on our upcoming conference championships are Shannon Imbornoni,
Chjuvaughn Cameron, and Shannon Hanmer. Shannon Imbornoni had a great effort in the 800 to qualify for the conference championships, while Chjuvaughn did the same on the men's side in the 100. For the field events, Shannon Hanmer had a great effort in the shot put with a PR to put herself into the conference meet in the event – she was already in for the discus throw and right on the edge for shot put going into this meet.
