Coach's Corner - Comments from Head Coach Steve Patrick

We're quite happy with our performances at the inaugural AARTFC meet!  To have two of our folks (Micheal Outing in the high hurdles and Dev Williams in the long jump) achieve performances that will get them into the NCAA Championships next weekend is a great achievement, to go along with a number of really well done efforts by other folks!

Kim White (high hurdles) and Kaylee Uhl (400 hurdles) both had season best performances for the women, as did Isaiah Brooks (decathlon), Wendell Brand (triple jump), and our men's 4x400 relay (Easton Reagan, Connor Lewis, Austen Johnson, and Noah Serrette), who ran a time that puts them in the top 40 of the nation for Division III institutions. Of course, that doesn't even acknowledge a new school record set by junior Storm Malone – which is now the 3rd best time in the country!

We had a number of other great performances, and are certainly quite pleased with the men's team finishing fourth!

Micheal, Devlen, and Storm will be joined by teammate Dawan Jones (triple jump) next weekend for the NCAA Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin @ La Crosse. We're excited for the opportunity for a bit of fine-tuning in each of their events through the weekend before we depart!
