BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Emily Speciale (San Antonio, TX/James Madison) won uneven bars and tied for second on balance beam and Megan Hanley (Lynbrook/Malverne) placed second on uneven bars to lead Cortland's performances during a 190.00-184.025 dual meet loss at Brockport.

Speciale finished with a winning score of 9.45 on bars and she recorded a career best on beam with a 9.50. Hanley recorded a runner-up score of 9.40 on bars and finished second in the all-around with a 36.525.

Rachel Filipski (Lancaster) posted two top-four finishes. She tied for third on vault and tied for fourth on floor exercise, both with scores of 9.65.

Lindsay Riggs (Rancho Santa Margaarita, CA/Trabuco Hills) finished fourth on beam with a season-high 9.45 and was seventh on floor with a 9.575. She also competed on bars as it was her first three-event meet of the season after coming back from an injury. Also for the Red Dragons, Lily Szafranski (Williamsville/Williamsville South) placed sixth on floor with a 9.60.

Brockport's Kimberly Musall won beam (9.625) and tied for first on floor (9.75) along with teammate Taylor Keough. Candis Kowalik and Stephanie Mager tied for first on vault (9.725), and Kowalik was the all-around champion with a 37.575.

Cortland returns to action next Sunday, Feb. 24, at home versus Springfield College in an 11 a.m. dual meet.
