Harley Buczkowski follows through on an attempt in the weight throw during the 2019 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships
BOSTON, MASS. – Cortland senior
Harley Buczkowski (Holland Patent) finished in 14th place in the weight throw during the opening day of competition at the NCAA Division III Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships. The two-day championship is being held at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center.
Buczkowski recorded a distance of 16.32 meters (53' 6.5") on her third attempt, improving four places in the process. Her first two attempts covered 15.31 and 15.96 meters. Wesleyan's Ivie Uzamere won the national title at 19.36 meters (63' 6.25").
Maya Campbell (Valley Stream/Valley Stream South) will represent the Red Dragons in the triple jump Saturday at 11 a.m.
