Senior Martin Lavallee (Goose Bay, NL/Nepean Raiders), junior Conor Tierney (Point Pleasant, NJ/Philadelphia Flyers), sophomore Hayden Hart (Potsdam/Smiths Falls Bears) and freshman Nick Grupp (Depew/Brantford 99ers) each picked up an assist. Junior Josh Labonte (North Smithfield, RI/Pomfret School) and freshman Fred Allaire (Mascouche, QC/Wyoming Seminary) assisted on the score. Sophomore goalie Sean Storr (Kingston, ON/Regiopolis-Notre Dame Catholic) made 20 saves.

Storjohann gave Cortland a 2-0 lead after one period of play. He netted his first goal at 17:46 with a wrist shot from the left side and scored a power-play goal from nearly the same spot on the ice six seconds before the end of the period.

After a scoreless second period, the Continentals made it a 2-1 game on Ursitti's goal at 17:12 of the third period on the power play with an extra skater. Hamilton pulled Storr again after the goal, but Ritchie sealed the win with his empty-net goal at 18:53 for the 3-1 final.
