CORTLAND, N.Y. – Cortland recorded two pins, a major decision and five forfeits among its nine wins and the Red Dragons defeated visiting Keystone College, 50-3, in the final home dual match of the season.

Ben Lloyd (Woodbridge, VA/Forest Park) opened the match for Cortland (7-7) with a pin in just 17 seconds at 125 pounds. Jeremy Pond (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) registered a pin in 59 seconds at 141 pounds, followed by Cahal Donovan's (Marietta/Marcellus) 14-9 decision at 149 pounds after trailing 6-0 less than a minute into the match. Demitreus Henry (Brooklyn/Grand Street Campus) won by a 16-1 technical fall with five seconds left in the first period at 174 pounds.

Cortland's forfeit victories were by Rick Chastine (Endicott/Union-Endicott) at 133, Ben Bivar (Noblesville, IN/Bainbridge-Guilford (NY)) at 157, Roman Jellick (Johnson City/Maine-Endwell) at 184, Odean Gray (Brooklyn/Grand Street Campus) at 197 and Zach Herbert (Sparta, NJ) at 285.

Keystone (1-9), coached by former Cortland wrestler Lance Moore '15, picked up its points when James Geiger won 5-1 at 165 pounds.

Following the dual, Cortland notched three exhibition wins that count individually but not toward the team score. Chastine registered a pin in 22 seconds, Chandler Merwin (Walton) won by pin in 42 seconds, and Jellick earned a pin 27 seconds into the second period.

Prior to the match, Cortland honored its three seniors in their final season with the program – Lloyd, Dustin Harris (Syracuse/Solvay) and Kevin Morgans (Liberty).

Cortland will travel to Oswego for a dual match on Saturday at 11 a.m.
