2021 Awards Week - Spring Red Letter Awards

Cortland Spring Red Letter Award Winners Announced on Day 3 of "Awards Week"

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the SUNY Cortland Athletics Department is once again this year honoring its student-athletes as part of an online "Awards Week" series of releases May 10-14 instead of conducting the C-Club Athletics Awards Ceremony.

The awards announced on Wednesday, May 12, are the annual Red Letter Awards for the spring teams. Each year, the Cortland head coaches select a winner in their respective sports. The Red Letter may be given for outstanding athletic skills, team leadership, personal development as a player, or for any combination of reasons.

The 2020-21 Spring Red Letter Award winners, by sport, are as follows:
 
Baseball: Colin BeVard, Sr. (Syracuse/West Genesee)
Women's Golf: #Danielle Bambola, Gr. (Miller Place)
Men's Lacrosse: #Brian Williams, Sr. (Holtsville/Sachem East)
Women's Lacrosse: Catie Fleming, Sr. (Massapequa/Farmingdale)
Softball: Kelly O'Gorman, Gr. (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa)
Women's Tennis: #Abby Madigan, So. (Endicott/Union-Endicott)
Men's Track and Field: Isaiah Brooks, Sr. (Minoa/East Syracuse Minoa)
Women's Track and Field: Kimmy Arena, So. (West Islip)
