Cortland junior Abby Madigan (Endicott/Union-Endicott) has been named the PrestoSports State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Tennis Singles Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 19.  
In her lone match of the week, Madigan won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles during Cortland's 6-3 non-league victory at Alfred University. She was also part of the second doubles team that posted an 8-3 win. 
 
Madigan is 4-1 in singles action this fall, all at the number one flight, and has only lost a combined eight games during her four victories. 
 
Cortland (4-1, 3-1 SUNYAC) will travel to Hartwick for a non-league match Friday at 3 p.m.
