CORTLAND, N.Y. – Six different players scored goals as the Plattsburgh men's hockey team defeated Cortland, 7-2, Saturday night at Alumni Arena in SUNYAC action. The Red Dragons fell to 2-1-1 overall and 1-1 in the conference. The Cardinals improved to 2-1-1 and 1-1.

Freshman Riley Sutherland (Burlington, ON/St. Michael's Buzzers) recorded a goal and two assists, and senior Adam Tretowicz (Baldwinsville/Buffalo Jr. Sabres) and freshman Ryan Bonfield (Kemptville, ON/Brockville Braves) each tallied a goal and an assist. Junior Carson Gallagher (Courtice/Sacred Heart) and sophomore Jake Lanyi (North Salem/Connecticut Jr. Rangers) netted one goal apiece. Sophomore goalie Jacob Hearne (Ennismore, ON/Toronto Jr. Canadiens) made 26 saves.
