ITHACA, N.Y. – Four Red Dragons competed during Day 1 of the NCAA Division III Region 4 (Northeast/South) Women's Diving Regional, hosted by Ithaca College.

On the men's side, Lance Meeson (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) finished 16th on the 3-meter board with 374.35 points.

Competition continues on Saturday at noon with the men's 1-meter competition, followed by the women's 3-meter event.

A total of seven women and five men will advance to the NCAA Division III Championships in Indianapolis March 16-19. For each gender, qualifiers are chosen in alternating fashion, starting with the top finisher on Day 1, then the top finisher on Day 2, then the second finisher from Day 1, and so on. Those who have already been chosen are skipped for the next finisher on that board. The NCAA will officially announce the national qualifiers on Monday, as the final qualifying spot may come down to adding scores from both boards.
