REXFORD, N.Y. – The Cortland women's golf team defeated Utica University, 321-442, in a dual match at The Edison Club in the Capital Region. Both teams will be part of the 10-team Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) Championship, which will be held Saturday and Sunday at The Edison Club. 
 
Alivia Waldron (Saranac) and Claudia Winterberg (Harrisburg, NC/Hickory Ridge) shared medalist honors, each with a five-over-par 77. Paige Cerminaro (Howell, NJ) was third with an 82, followed by Sophie Oristian (Gaithersburg, MD/Quince Orchard) in fourth with an 85 and Amanda Gaffney (Williamsville/Williamsville East) in fifth with a 91. 
 
Waldron's and Winterberg's rounds each featured one birdie and 11 pars. Cerminaro parred nine holes and Oristian posted seven pars.
