Graduate student women's indoor track and field athlete Danielle Fisk (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) and senior football wide receiver Cole Burgess (Greenwich) have been named the SUNY Cortland Athletes of the Week for the week ending Dec. 10.

Daniellle won the pentathlon with a score of 3,376 points at the Utica Holiday Classic in her first-ever collegiate combined-event competition. She ranks second nationally in Division III with the performance.

Cole Burgess

Cole caught 12 passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns in Cortland's 49-14 win at Randolph-Macon in the NCAA Division III semifinals, helping the Red Dragons advance to their first-ever national championship game. His 12 receptions are the most by a Red Dragon in an NCAA playoff game.
