Tori Reich (Cornwall) finished 1-for-2 with a walk.

RPI scored twice in the second on a Madison Brooks leadoff homer and a Comeau RBI single later in the inning. Two Cortland errors helped account for five RPI unearned runs in the fourth. Comeau's two-run double drove in the last of those runs. The Red Dragons got on the board in the top of the sixth when Wright hit a two-out triple and scored on a Barry single. The hosts scored in the bottom of the inning on a Ledger two-out RBI single.

RPI 3, Cortland 2

Erike Holowka picked up the win in Game 2 for RPI, which is now 13-5 on the season. Holowka improved to 5-1 after allowing two runs on six hits in four and two thirds innings. She struck out four and walked one. Brooke Sroczinski earned her second save with two and a third hitless innings. She fanned four batters. Brooks was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI, Liv Vizzini went 2-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored, and Comeau finished 2-for-3 with a double and RBI for RPI.

Wright went 1-for-3 with an RBI for Cortland and extended her hitting streak to 15 games.
Shannon Scotto (Putnam Valley/Lakeland) reached base in all three of her plate appearances with a double, walk and hit by pitch. Barry took the loss after giving up two runs on five hits in three innings. She struck out one and walked two.
Kaeli Murtagh (Pine Bush) allowed just one run over the next three innings. She gave up two hits and one walk and struck out two.

RPI scored on a Comeau RBI double in the first and a Brooks RBI double in the second to take a 2-0 lead. Cortland got a run back in the third when Scotto doubled with one out and scored on a
Gina Meyers (Liverpool) two-out single.

The Red Dragons had two singles to start the fourth but a double play and strikeout ended that threat. RPI scored on Brooks' RBI single in the fourth to make it 3-1, but Cortland responded with a run in the fifth. Scotto walked and
Elaina Ornstein (Yorktown Heights/Yorktown) reached on an infield single. Pinch runner
Megan LaMont (Amsterdam) moved to third on a fielder's choice and scored on Wright's RBI single. Barry then reached on an error by the second baseman, but Meyers was thrown out trying to score from second on the play to end the inning.

Cortland's final threat came in the top of the seventh. Scotto was hit by a pitch with one out and advanced to second on a groundout, but Meyers lined out to right to end the game.
