CORTLAND, N.Y. – Cortland scored on its final 13 possessions to overcome a seven-point deficit in the final six minutes and the Red Dragons defeated visiting Oswego, 72-64, in SUNYAC women's basketball action.

Cortland (13-5, 9-2 SUNYAC) finished the game 17-for-17 from the foul line - the best perfect game from the line in program history. It's only the second time Cortland has shot 100 percent from the line with at least 10 makes, with the previous occasion a 15-for-15 effort at Brockport in 2014.

Brooke Tillotson (Marathon) led Cortland with 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field and 6-of-6 accuracy from the line. Abby Wilkinson (Cato/Bishop Grimes) scored 13 points with four field goals and four free throws. Jackie Funk (Penfield) hit three 3-pointers, including two in the fourth quarter, and ended with nine points and five rebounds and Mariah Huss (Kenmore/Sacred Heart Academy) was 3-for-3 from the line and finished with eight points, six rebounds and three assists.

Logan Streety (Elma/Iroquois) scored six points and led the Red Dragons with 11 rebounds and five assists. Lily Woodis (Dewittville/Chautauqua Lake) matched her career best with four assists. Woodis and Emily Morano (Olyphant, PA/Mid Valley) also contribued to Cortland's perfect night at the charity stripe with two free throws apiece.

Zhane Holmes led Oswego (10-7, 6-5 SUNYAC) with 15 points and three steals. Julia Logana tallied 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting, grabbed five rebounds and blocked two shots and Giavanna White-Principio led the Lakers with six rebounds and also blocked two shots.

Trailing 49-42 with 6:13 left after Oswego's Macey De'Ordio hit a layup, Cortland scored 30 points on its final 13 trips down the court. Tillotson started the run with a layup and a 3-pointer, followed by two Wilkinson free throws, another Tillotson layup and back-to-back Funk 3-pointers, the latter giving the Red Dragons a 57-55 lead with 3:14 left. Wilkinson's layup and 3-pointer put Cortland up by five with 1:50 left and Tillotson followed with two layups as Cortland extended the lead to seven with 55 seconds remaining. The Red Dragons' final six points came via free throws, two by Huss and four by Tillotson.

Cortland trailed by seven early but cut its deficit to 15-14 when Huss drained a 40-foot 3-pointer a couple of steps over halfcourt at the first quarter buzzer. The Red Dragons held a 28-26 halftime lead and 40-36 advantage entering the fourth. The game featured seven ties and eight lead changes. Cortland was shooting only 30 percent from the field through three quarters before shooting 69 percent in the fourth (9-of-13) to finish at 38 percent. Oswego shot 40 percent overall, including 60 percent (12-of-20) in the fourth.
