CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Cortland men's hockey team opened up a 4-0 lead early in the second period and skated to a 7-2 victory versus Anna Maria College in a penalty-filled non-conference game at Alumni Arena Saturday night. The Red Dragons improved to 12-6-2 with the win. The Amcats fell to 12-9 with the loss.

Senior John Kuhl (Essex Fells, NJ/Boston Jr. Rangers) led Cortland with a pair of goals. Sophomore Colby Seitz (Eden/Corpus Christi IceRays) tallied a game-high four points on a goal and three assists. Senior Nate Berke (Williamsville/Buffalo Jr. Sabres) recorded a goal and an assist, and sophomore Nick Serioe (Bayville/P.A.L. Junior Islanders) picked up a goal and an assist.

Senior Sutter Donegan (Cicero/Buffalo Jr. Sabres) and sophomore Devlin O'Kane (Chicago, IL/New Jersey 87's) added goals for the Red Dragons. Graduate student A.J. Przystawski (Burlington, CT/New Hampshire Avalanche) and junior Domenic Settimo (East Meadow/P.A.L. Junior Islanders) collected two assists, while senior Cameron Knowlton (Kenai, AK/Charlotte Rush), junior Johnny Facchini (Succasunna, NJ/P.A.L. Junior Islanders) and freshmen Colin Anna (Tampa, FL/Wilkes Barre Scranton Knights) and Sam Nichols (North Tonwawanda/Islanders Hockey Club) chipped in with an assist. Senior goalie Jack Riedell (Greensboro, NC/Charlotte Rush) made 26 saves.

Derek Raposo registered a goal and an assist for the Amcats. Matthew Gilbert scored a goal, and Pearce Baker, Guillaume Coulombe and Justin Taylor each recorded an assist. Goalie Matthew Hennessey stopped 57 shots.
