The Ephs took advantage of a defensive miscue by the Red Dragons in the 62nd minute to score the game-winning goal. A long ball from Williams' territory was not dealt with by the Cortland backline and fell to Mitchell, who sent a long shot from outside the box into the right corner of the net as van Galen was unable to get back in position.
