Kadota-Browner Wins 3-Meter Board, Second on 1-Meter Board, at TCNJ Invite

Kazuki Kadota-Browner hit NCAA regional qualifying marks on both boards
EWING, N.J. – Kazuki Kadota-Browner (Jericho) won the 3-meter diving event and placed second on the 1-meter board to highlight Cortland's performances at the TCNJ Men's Swimming and Diving Invitational Friday through Sunday.
 
Cortland finished in fourth place out of six teams with 459.5 points despite not being able to score in two events on Friday due to a late arrival because of the weather. TCNJ won the event with 1,700 points, followed by Merchant Marine Academy (606), Stevens Institute (518.5), Cortland, New Paltz (273) and West Chester (74).
 
Kadota-Browner won the 3-meter diving event with an 11-dive score of 459.25 points and was second on the 1-meter board with an 11-dive score of 445.25 points. Both scores meet NCAA regional qualifying standards, and since he's now hit the NCAA mark on the 1-meter board twice he's qualified for the NCAA regionals at the end of February.
 
Kevin Kohlhoff (West Islip) placed fifth on the 1-meter board with 392.15 points and Alex Hilldale (Binghamton/Chenango Valley) was eighth on the 3-meter board with 322.65 points. Kellen Dickman (Montgomery/Valley Central) finished sixth in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:00.97 (1:58.13 in prelims) and seventh in the 100-yard butterfly in 51.22 seconds.
 
Dylan Anselment (Glens Falls) placed seventh in the 50-yard freestyle (21.83, 21.76 prelims), Jack Clark (Rochester/Aquinas Institute) was seventh in the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.08, 1:47.67 prelims) and Dom Fratto (Waterloo/Geneva) finished seventh in the 100-yard backstroke (52.89). Ayden Baxter (Marlboro) was eighth in the 400-yard individual medley (4:21.33, 4:16.71 prelims).
 
In relay action, Clark, Dickman, Hunter Sugrue-Neuendorf (Valley Cottage/Nyack) and Anselment placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:25.78) and Anselment, Mason Rowlands (Campbell Hall/Washingtonville), Sugrue-Neuendorf and Fratto were fourth in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:13.91). Fratto, Sugrue-Neuendorf, Dickman and Clark finished sixth in the 400-yard medley relay (3:31.61).
 
In addition, Sean Zupko (Montgomery/Valley Central), Patrick Kivlehan (Highland Mills/Monroe-Woodbury), Rowlands and Dylan Monaco (Lynbrook) finished seventh in the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:19.59), Dickman, Monaco, Conner Utter (Manassas, VA/Patriot) and Peter Brelesky (Monroe/Monroe-Woodbury) were seventh in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:18.01), and Fratto, Sugrue-Neuendorf, Dickman and Clark were eighth in the 200-yard medley relay (1:35.68).
