CLINTON, N.Y. - Hank Morgan and Teja Singh each registered 14 points and seven rebounds as Hamilton defeated visiting Cortland, 73-51, in a men's basketball non-league contest.

Jalen Reese added 10 points, nine rebounds and three blocks for the Continentals, who improved to 9-1 with the win.

Cortland (2-5) was led by
Aaron Coston (Kerhonkson/Rondout Valley) with 16 points on 7-of-16 shooting.
Isaiah Warmack (Utica/Proctor) totaled 10 points, six rebounds and two assists,
Jaylen Warmack (Utica/Utica Notre Dame) had five assists and
Isaiah Austin (Albany) ended with seven points, seven rebounds and two steals.

Hamilton took a 20-9 lead midway through the first half and led by as many as 21 points in the opening period before taking a 41-23 lead into the locker room at halftime. The closest Cortland got in the second half was 13 points.

Cortland returns to action on Friday, Jan. 3, at 4 p.m. versus St. Joseph's of Maine in the opening round of the Middlebury Invitational.
