Graduate student women's indoor track and field jumper/pentathlete Danielle Fisk (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) and senior men's indoor track and field jumper Amarian Hughes (Newburgh/Marlboro) have been selected as the SUNY Cortland Athletes of the Week for the week ending March 10.

Danielle Fisk

Danielle earned a pair of first-team All-America honors with an eighth-place showing in the pentathlon and a tie for seventh in the high jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in Virginia Beach. She broke the Cortland school record in the pentathlon with 3,410 points on Friday, and the following day she cleared 1.68 meters (5' 6") in the high jump.

Amarian Hughes

Amarian earned first-team All-America honors with a seventh-place finish in the triple jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in Virginia Beach. He recorded a distance of 14.66 meters (48' 1.25") on his final attempt to move from eighth to seventh place.
