Cortland senior Lisa Schulz (Mönchengladbach, Germany) and junior Christina Massoni (West Babylon) have been named the SUNYAC Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week for the week ending Oct. 5. They earned the award for the second time this season.
 
Schulz and Massoni won both of their matches at first doubles last week. They earned a 6-2 win in a home match versus Houghton on Tuesday and a 6-1 win at Oswego on Wednesday. They are 7-3 in doubles play this season, including a 3-1 mark in SUNYAC action.
 
Cortland (5-5, 2-2 SUNYAC) will wrap up its SUNYAC schedule on Thursday at 3 p.m. at Oneonta. Cortland is battling with Plattsburgh (2-3) and Oneonta (1-3) for the third and fourth seeds in the four-team SUNYAC tournament, which will be held Oct. 17-18 in Binghamton.
