Nazair Jean-Lubin (Freeport) has been selected to the 2025 Associated Press (AP) Division III Football All-America squad. Wiser was chosen to the All-America first team and Jean-Lubin to the third team.
Wiser, the Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Year, finished the season with 38 tackles, 26 solo, in 11 games. He led the Red Dragons with seven sacks and 9.5 total tackles for loss. Wiser also recorded seven quarterback hurries, an interception, two pass breakups and a forced fumble. He posted three sacks in a win at Morrisville, 2.5 sacks in Cortland's season opener versus Grove City, and a sack and forced fumble in a win over Utica.
Jean-Lubin led Cortland this fall with four interceptions and 11 pass breakups in 11 games. He also registered 32 tackles, 22 solo, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Jean-Lubin intercepted passes in wins over Union, Hartwick, St. John Fisher and Alfred State, and he had three pass breakups in a win over Utica. Through three seasons, he has nine career interceptions and 25 pass breakups.
Cortland finished the season 8-3 overall. The Red Dragons won their fifth straight Empire 8 title with a 7-0 record and made their fifth consecutive NCAA Division III playoff appearance, losing at Springfield in the opening round.
