EWING, N.J. - The Cortland wrestling team lost a tight battle to Delaware Valley, 26-25, and fell to nationally eighth-ranked The College of New Jersey, 48-0, in dual matches hosted by TCNJ.
 
Cortland won five of the 10 matches against Delaware Valley but was nipped in the final team scoring when Delaware Valley won the 285-pound match by pin. The Red Dragons' wins included a pin by Robby Cunningham (Miller Place) at 197, a 19-4 technical fall by Justin Klein (Miller Place) at 157, a 17-8 major decision by Tymothey Murrell (Batavia) at 184, a 14-9 decision by David Ensminger (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) at 149 and a forfeit win by Christian Lievano (East Setauket/Ward Melville) at 125.
 
Cortland will host King's College (Pa.) in a dual match on Thursday at 7 p.m.
