Autumn Pittman Claims Fourth Straight SUNYAC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week Honor

Cortland senior Autumn Pittman (Spring Valley/Ramapo) has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 27. This is the fourth consecutive week that Pittman has earned the honor.

Pittman delivered a pair of dominant performances as a double-winner in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash at the Shippensburg University Paul Kaiser Classic. She clocked a time of 11.96 seconds to win the 100 meters out of 48 competitors and followed with a time of 25.23 seconds to claim the 200 meters out of 59 competitors. Both performances met AARTFC qualifying standards and continue to solidify Pittman as one of the top sprinters in Division III.

Pittman's time in the 100 meters from Saturday is the 27th-fastest time in nation this season, while she sits 24th in the nation with a mark of 24.46 seconds from the Cortland Classic two weekends ago.

Cortland will host the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships this weekend, beginning on Friday at 2 p.m. and continuing through Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
