Cortland senior pitcher Luis Misla (Tampa, FL/Riverview) has been named to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week for the week ending March 30. Misla was one of four starting pitchers selected.
 
Misla tossed a four-hit shutout with one walk and a career-high 16 strikeouts in a 6-0 win over visiting New Paltz last Friday. He's the fifth player in program history to strike out at least 16 batters in a game and finished one strikeout short of the school single-game record of 17 strikeouts.
 
In six starts this season, Misla is 4-2 with a 1.07 ERA. He's allowed 25 hits and 10 walks and has struck out 46 batters in 33 and two thirds innings.
