SCRANTON, PA – The nationally ninth-ranked Cortland men's soccer team recorded its fourth consecutive shutout, but couldn't find the back of the net for a winning goal, as the Red Dragons played to a scoreless tie at Scranton on Saturday evening. Cortland is now 5-1-2 on the year, while Scranton is 3-0-3.

The Royals had the first shot attempt of the contest in the third minute, when Paxson fired a shot that was blocked.

The Red Dragons registered their first shot on goal of the game in the 19th minute, when Napolitano sent a shot towards the bottom left corner of the net that was saved by Smith off of Cortland's first corner kick of the game.

Scranton held a 3-2 edge in attempts for the first half as the game stayed scoreless into halftime.
