Joleen Lusk Chosen to D3hoops.com All-Region Team

Cortland women's basketball junior forward Joleen Lusk (Cherry Valley/Cherry Valley-Springfield) has been selected to the D3hoops.com All-Region 3 third team for the 2025-26 season.

Lusk earned all-region honors for the second time in her collegiate career; she was a second-team honoree and the regional Rookie of the Year in 2023-24 while playing at St. John Fisher.

This winter, Lusk started in all 27 games in which she appeared and led Cortland with 11.5 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots per game. She also was second on the team with 40 assists and 27 steals, and she shot 44 percent from the floor.

Lusk scored in double figures 17 times, including 25 points in a home win versus Oswego, 21 points in a home win against Buffalo State, and 19 points in the NCAA Division III tournament first round versus Messiah. She registered 15 points and 10 rebounds, capped by the winning basket in the closing seconds, in a victory over Colby.

Cortland finished the season with a 23-5 record, reaching the 20-win mark for the fifth time in the last six seasons. The Red Dragons tied for first in the SUNYAC regular season with a 17-1 record and finished second in the SUNYAC tournament. Cortland earned an at-large berth into the NCAA tournament and lost to Messiah, 64-58, in the opening round.
