Cortland women's basketball players
Joleen Lusk (Cherry Valley/Cherry Valley-Springfield) and
Brooke Tillotson (Marathon) have earned 2026 Division III Academic All-District honors for District 3. Both players are honorees for the second straight season.
The all-district teams are selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). In Division III, District 3 encompasses all schools in New York State. Recipients must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and meet certain requirements in terms of contests competed in and athletic accomplishments.
Lusk is a junior exercise science major with a 3.98 overall GPA at Cortland entering the spring semester. Lusk earned first-team All-SUNYAC and third-team D3hoops.com all-region honors this winter after leading Cortland with 11.5 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots per game in 27 starts.
Tillotson is a senior biology major with a 3.92 cumulative GPA prior to the spring semester. A second-team All-SUNYAC selection, Tillotson started 27 games and averaged 10.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.3 assists per game.
Cortland finished the season with a 23-5 record, reaching the 20-win mark for the fifth time in the last six seasons. The Red Dragons tied for first in the SUNYAC regular season with a 17-1 record and finished second in the SUNYAC tournament. Cortland earned an at-large berth into the NCAA tournament and lost to Messiah, 64-58, in the opening round.
