Cortland men's lacrosse junior attack Sean Kavanagh (North Canton, OH/Hoover) has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III National Team of the Week for the week ending March 2. 

The team honors the top Division III performers, by position, during the week. Kavanagh is one of three players selected at attack on the weekly team.

Also this week's State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Offensive Athlete of the Week, Kavanagh finished with 17 points on eight goals and nine assists, while also contributing seven ground balls and three caused turnovers, across two games for the Red Dragons. He had a career-high nine points on six goals and three assists, with three ground balls and two caused turnovers, in a 24-7 win at Brockport on Saturday. That followed an eight-point performance on two goals and six assists against St. Lawrence on Wednesday.
