Sophomore softball pitcher Gianna Endieveri (Glens Falls) and junior men's outdoor track and field sprinter/hurdler Kyler Alston (Latham/Shaker) have been named the SUNY Cortland Athletes of the Week for the week ending April 12.

Gianna Endieveri

Gianna went 2-1 with a 1.75 ERA in three complete games. She tossed a four-hit shutout with eight strikeouts and two walks in a 1-0 win over RPI and gave up one run on five hits with six strikeouts and one walk in six innings in a 9-1 victory over league-leading New Paltz.

Kyler Alston

Kyler finished first out of 37 competitors in the 400-meter hurdles at the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic. His time of 52.40 seconds ranks third nationally in Division III and first in the SUNYAC.
