SUNY Cortland will be one of 34 schools competing at the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships May 19-22 at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California.
The Red Dragons earned the program's fourth NCAA team berth, and second consecutive appearance, by capturing the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) title April 19-20. Cortland finished 24th at the national championship in 2022, 26th at the national championship in 2023, and 34th last year
Competition begins on Tuesday, with Cortland's first tee time at 11:40 a.m. (8:40 a.m. CT). The tournament continues on Wednesday, with tee times stil unavailable. After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the top 15 teams and top six individuals not on one of those teams for Thursday and Friday's final two rounds.

At this year's NWGC Championship, sophomore
Gina Milazzo (Greenwood Lake/Warwick Valley) earned championship medalist honors and was one of three Red Dragons to earn first-team all-conference honors by virtue of a top-five finish.
Pia Aguilar (Santiago, Chile/Colegio Highlands) finished fourth and
Kara Dumas (Jefferson/Gilboa/Conesville) tied for fifth. Milazzo was also named the NWGC Golfer of the Year, which goes to the championship medalist.
Cortland Women's Golf has won eight league titles - six in the NWGC (fall of 2019 and spring of 2021, spring of 2022 and spring of 2023 and spring of 2025, in addition to this year), along with Empire 8 crowns in 2017 and 2018, before that league disbanded. (Cortland also won an ECAC title in the fall of 2015 before officially joining a conference.)

Gina Milazzo (Greenwood Lake/Warwick Valley) – 12:20 p.m. (9:20 a.m. CT) tee time Tuesday
Milazzo was the NWGC Golfer of the Year and a first team NWGC all-conference selection after finishing first with a two-day score of 160 at the NWGC Championship. Milazzo has an adjusted scoring average of 80.1 for the season, and has posted a single-day best of 74 this season at the St. Lawrence Invitational. Milazzo's best two-day score for the season is 151, earning medalist honors at the St. Lawrence Invitational. She has also posted career-best scores of 71 for 18 holes and 146 for 36 holes last year.
Mimi Rienzo (Stewartsville, NJ/Phillipsburg) – 12:10 p.m. (9:10 a.m. CT) tee time Tuesday
Rienzo enters the national championship with a single-day best of 80 at the Cortland Martin/Wallace Invitational. She posted her best two-day score of 167 at the Martin/Wallace Invitational to finish ninth. Rienzo also has posted scores of 85 or better five times during the season, including an 81 at the Union Spring Invitational to place eighth at the event.
Kara Dumas (Jefferson/Gilboa-Conesville) – 12:00 p.m. (9:00 a.m. CT) tee time Tuesday
Dumas finished with a score of 82 over the final 18 holes at the NWGC Championship to finish in a tie for fifth place and earn first team all-conference honors. She followed it up with a career-best score of 80 at teh Union Spring Invitational to tie for sixth. Dumas has a top 36-hole score of 169, accomplished at the Williams Invitational.
Pia Aguilar (Santiago, Chile/Colegio Highlands) – 11:50 a.m. (8:50 a.m. CT) tee time Tuesday
Aguilar was a first team all-conference selection after finishing with a closing round score of 81, her career best for 18 holes, to place fourth. The top two-day score for Aguilar in her career is 165, which was accomplished at the NWGC Championship. She also has three rounds under 85 for the season, including two of her last three rounds.
Steffi Trombley (Plattsburgh) – 11:40 a.m. (8:40 a.m. CT) tee time Tuesday
Trombley has posted her top marks for both 18 holes and 36 holes at the St. Lawrence Invitational. She had a score of 85 on the second day, and had a two-day score of 175 for the Invitational.
